Tecumseh, ON – The St. Clair College Men's Baseball team (5-0) is set to host their home opener Friday at Tecumseh's Lacasse Park against new OCAA competitor Centennial College (Scarborough, ON) who has a 1-4 record so far this season. First pitch for the doubleheader is set for 6:00pm with game two immediately following at approximately 8:00pm.
Catcher Henry Real (Panama City, Panama) is 2nd in league batting hitting at a 0.643 clip and sits third in OCAA RBI's with 11 while shortstop Joshua Anderson (Ajax, ON) is close behind averaging 0.583 for the Saints. Pitcher Aden Ryan (Tecumseh, ON/St. Anne) is leading the OCAA in strikeouts per game (10.9) in his two victorious appearances for St. Clair.
As part of a home opener weekend St. Clair has a doubleheader on Saturday against Durham College (Oshawa) who is also 1-4 on the season with game times of 1:00pm and 3:00pm.
