WOMEN'S VOLLEYBALL FALL IN 5 SET HEATBREAKER

The women's volleyball team dropped their second in a row in a heartbreaking battle with the Georgian Grizzlies.

Despite the outcomes, the Lancer middles stole the show with explosive attacks, big blocks and tough serving. First year middle Alyssa Diemert was outstanding for her team. At '6'0", Diemert used her size and range to record 13 kills, 6 aces and 2 blocks for an impressive total of 21 points. Playing opposite Diemert, Sierra Scott contributes 12 kills of her own to compliment her 1 ace, 3 blocks and 11 digs. Combined, the middles scored 37 of the Lancers total points in the 5 set battle.

Next up for the now 3-8 Lancers is a 3-game road stand that has the team traveling to Ottawa to take on the Algonquin Thunder on Saturday January 20th and the La Coyotes the following day.
