Women's Volleyball Fall to Top Ranked Humber

(Windsor, ON)- The St. Clair women's volleyball team continued their OCAA regular season schedule on Saturday afternoon and dropped a tight match to the top ranked Humber College Hawks (Etobicoke) by a score of 3-1.

Set scores for Humber were 21-25, 25-22, 25-21 and 25-15.

Third year outside hitter Chantal DeVlugt (Wyoming; LCCVI) led the way for the Saints with 12 kills and 4 digs. Second year libero Mikayla Stocks (LaSalle; Sandwich) had a solid defensive game with 12 digs and 2 assists.

With the loss St. Clair dropped to 5-2 on the season while Humber improved to 6-0. The Saints are ranked 4th in Ontario while Humber is ranked in 1st in Ontario and 3rd in Canada.

The Saints are next in action on Saturday, November 26 when they host the Sheridan Bruins at 8 pm at the Sportsplex.
