Softball Drops Final Two Regular Season Games

Windsor, ON – The St. Clair College Women's Softball team finished their OCAA regular season with a pair of home losses to Humber College (Etobicoke) Saturday afternoon.  The Lady Saints were on the short end of 11-0 and 13-3 mercy shortened scores and complete the campaign with a 15-9 record which currently stands in 3rd Place.  St. Clair has already qualified for the OCAA Championship Final Four in London Oct. 18-19 and while await final seeding for tournament. 

In the opening game 2nd year outfielder Jessica Hebert (Brampton, ON) notched the only hit for St. Clair with Hannah Desrosiers (Windsor, ON/Kennedy Collegiate) taking the pitching loss. 

St. Clair fared better in the second game with 7 hits in the contest and were within 4 runs in the 4th inning.  But a 6-run 5th inning for Humber sealed their fate.  Saints starter Olivia Elliott (Oakville, ON) took the loss in just 3 innings only giving up 2 earned runs on 4 hits.  Hebert recorded her second homerun of the season while Jordan Taylor (Lasalle, ON/St. Thomas of Villanova) had two hits including a double for St. Clair.
