SCARBOROUGH, Neilson Park – A gut-wrenching loss to the Lambton Lions last time out brought out the best in the Centennial Colts, as they put on a clinic, winning 19-1. Liam Oates earned his third win of the season, as he displayed his versatility by pitching a no-hitter and contributing with three hits from the plate.

"Every time I go out, I try to perform to the best of my abilities, and it's working right now. I was being more patient than I usually am, and I got my pitches," said Oates.

Owen Nichols, lead off with a single to start the game, and Shoya Hase drove him in with a triple. Tejean O'Sullivan crushed an RBI single and later scored with Oates, as Brandon Turner smacked an RBI double.  The floodgates opened early. Colts' outfielder Kevin Akiyama added a double of his own, which scored Turner to give the Colts a commanding 5-0 lead.

O'Sullivan was back at it in the second inning, launching an RBI double that sent Josh Savoie and Hase home to extend the lead to 7-0. In the third inning, Turner belted his second home run of the season, making it 8-0. Savoie hit a sacrifice fly that managed to get Devon Bogden home. Hase's RBI single drove in Aethan Ballen, making the score 10-0.

The Colts (7-3) feasted in the fourth inning, totalling 9 runs. The Lions (1-9) got on the board late, but the damage was already done. With their Sunday game against the St. Clair Saints cancelled due to weather, the Colts get a week off, then battle the Sault Cougars on October 1st at 12 pm.
