Sting Sweep Coyotes

Sting Sweep Coyotes

The Seneca Sting picked up a much needed win, sweeping the La Cité Coyotes 25-19, 25-16, 25-17.

One night after being swept against the Algonquin Thunder, the Sting looked like a far better team on the court, taking advantage of their height at the net to improve to 3-2 on the season.

The Sting jumped out to early leads in each of the three sets against the overmatched Coyotes.

Nicole Boyd led the Sting with 12 kills and added 5 digs. Lauren Watt and Crystalyn O'Donnell each added 7 kills. Genevieve Potovszky had 32 assists. O'Donnell also added a match-high 5 aces.

Ariane Proulx, Frederick Boulne-Seguin and Caroline Derepentigny each had 4 kills for the Coyotes. Anne-Sophie Henrie recorded 11 assists and a team-high 8 digs.
