Colts Play for Third Consecutive Win in Another Away Game Against The Phoenix

By: Pedro Casellatto

The Centennial Men's Volleyball team is back on the road this Wednesday. They are off to Peterborough, where they will face the Fleming Phoenix at 8:00 p.m. The still-undefeated Centennial Colts will have the chance to get their third win and start the month on the right foot.

The Colts are coming off a sequence of two wins and have shown a lot of passion and energy in their game. This season looks much more balanced, and they know that they must be mentally checked in for the next matchups. The Colts' first-year setter, Michael Matsuto, shows a lot of excitement for this upcoming week. He said, "It is an important week; we must focus on each game at the time. We are not allowing ourselves to relax at any time."

The home team, Fleming Phoenix, comes off a loss against the strong Georgian Grizzlies, and they will be looking to get their second win at home against the Colts. The Phoenix were one of the few teams that defeated the Colts in the second half of the last season, and they will bring the same mentality for this new year. They count on the experience of a couple of players and the energy of their rookies to get momentum this season.

We look forward to seeing these two teams in action this year and how they will perform in this upcoming game. We hope the Colts can bring the victory and momentum home for the important weekend they have.
