The Storyline
Humber men's basketball (6-4, 5th West) concludes the first half of the season Dec. 5 when Conestoga (4-6, 8th West) comes to the North Campus Gym. Tip-off is set for 8 p.m. and will be streamed live on the Hawks Sports Network.

Last Time Out
The Hawks travelled north for a weekend double against the Sault Cougars, easily picking up four points and extending their win streak to six.

Scouting Conestoga

  • The Condors are paced offensively by shooting Avery Sutton and his 17.3 ppg.
  • Conestoga has won four of its last seven games.
  • Conestoga's last win at Humber was Jan. 19, 1983, where the Condors escaped with a 68-63 win.
  • The Hawks have won 22 consecutive games against Conestoga – including 11 straight at home.

Reggie Miller
Third-year point guard Fowzi Mohamoud is five three-pointers away from surpassing Mike Dvorak (2007-12) for most career three-pointers in Humber history. Through 10 games Fowzi has hit 40 triples and is on pace to shatter Kenny Ejim's (2017-18) single-season record of 58 made three-pointers in a season.

Boarding
Cy Samuels has grabbed a team-best 102 rebounds this season, becoming just the 18th player in program history to complete the feat. Samuels is on pace to grab over 200 boards this season, something only Humber legend Tyrone Dickson was able to accomplish (217 in 2015).

90-plus
Humber is one of six teams in the province to average over 90 points-per-game this season.

Automatic
Jimmy Rich is leading the conference in field goal percentage, hitting at a 66.7 percent clip through 10 games.

What's Next?
Humber men's basketball will resume OCAA action in the New Year, beginning with a road trip to Canadore Jan. 11. Game time is set for 6 p.m.
