    For the first time in OCAA history, there was a tie for first place in the team compeition as the St. Clair Saints and Fanshawe Falcons both took home the gold medal as they ended the Cambrian Golden Shield's run for an eighth consecutive overall title.

    After two days of badminton action, the field has been set for the OCAA Championships to be hosted by Centennial College (February 17-18). Cambrian College (Sudbury) played host to the East Regional Badminton Championships while Humber College hosted the West Region Championships.
