Anderson was bestowed the Exemplary Leadership Award, formerly known as the Fair Play Award, at nationals in Fredericton. This honour recognizes a student-athlete who demonstrates leadership both on and off the court, emphasizing sportsmanship and fair play. Anderson played the full 40 minutes in each of Mohawk's three games, averaging 8.7 points, 9.7 rebounds, 4.7 assists, and 1.3 steals per game. The Mountaineers fell one victory short of playing for a national medal, but had a memorable start with a 62-57 win over VIU on Mar. 12.
