Facing the four-time defending champion Saints, Matt rose to the challenge, tossing a complete game shutout. The ace right-hander scattered just five hits across nine innings while striking out 10 St. Clair batters, keeping their powerful lineup off balance throughout the contest. With his dominant performance, Matt not only secured the victory but also set the tone for the Lords' season, proving he can deliver under pressure against top opponents. Matt's effort was a statement outing against one of the toughest programs.
