It was an exceptional OCAA debut for Brendan Currie at the Fanshawe Conservation Area on Oct. 4, winning the 8 km men's race in a time of 25:34, nineteen seconds quicker than the next fastest runner. Brendan is used to winning. A graduate of St. Thomas of Villanova in LaSalle, Brendan won the South Western Ontario Secondary School Athletic Association cross country running championship the past three years. Brendan is now the person to beat at the OCAA championships later this month in Mount Hope.
