John Mason was a member of the Fanshawe men's cross country team for five seasons while majoring in the Architectural Technology program.

The two-time Fanshawe College Male Athlete of the Year (2005-06, 2007-08) was MVP of the cross country team four times.

Some of Mason's major individual provincial and national accomplishments included being a two-time OCAA individual silver medalist, five-time OCAA All-Ontario team member and four-time CCAA All-Canadian team member.

John also helped the Falcons capture three OCAA men's team championships as well as five CCAA team medals (two silver, three bronze).
