Bob Armstrong was a key member of the Fanshawe Falcons men's and mixed curling teams for all four years he was at Fanshawe from 1986 to 1989.

Armstrong was quite successful as he won two OCAA gold medals and one CCAA national gold medal.

In the 1986-87 season he won the mixed division West Regional gold medal as well as OCAA gold and was selected as an All-Star.

During the 1987-88 season he was named the Fanshawe College Male Athlete of the Year, earned the CCAA Fair Play Award and was an OCAA provincial champion in the men's division.
