Jerry Auger was an incredible player, and truly a foundation to the success that the Sheridan College men's basketball program enjoys present day.

Jerry's 875 points puts him seventh all-time on Sheridan's all-time scoring list, and he is one of only eight Bruins to have eclipsed the 800-point mark. Jerry led Sheridan to a 16-3 record in 1976-77, scoring a team-high 308 points, averaging 16.2 per game.

In 1977-78, Jerry and the Bruins posted an 18-2 league record. He was named an OCAA championship all-star as Sheridan went on to win the bronze medal, a first in program history.

Sheridan had an overall record of 49 wins and only a dozen losses with Jerry as a member of the program. He graduated from the corporate business administration program and is a member of the Bruins hall of fame.
