Colin Clarke dominated OCAA men's skiing from 1972 to 1975. Capturing three OCAA gold medals as an individual in 1973 and as a team member in 1974 and 1975, Colin left a positive legacy at Mohawk College. In Edelweiss, Que., during the 1973 season, Clarke swept the OCAA skiing championship finishing first in both the slalom and giant slalom disciplines.

Over his colligate career, he won more than 80 percent of the college invitational slalom and giant slalom races and was recognized for his efforts as Mohawk's Outstanding Male Athlete of the Year in 1973-74.

Clarke was inducted into the Mohawk Mountaineer Hall of Fame in 1993.
