Randy Conlon, of St. Catharines, Ont., started his athletic career at Niagara College as a member of the men's basketball team in 1986-87.

After the cancellation of the basketball program, Randy became the beat reporter for the Niagara News covering men's volleyball. Shortly after graduating, he joined Niagara College as a staff member in the marketing department and in 1993-94, he started coaching Niagara's touch football team, which developed into one of the top touch football program in Ontario.

In his first three years with the team, Niagara captured three consecutive OCAA championships. Two bronze medals followed before the Knights returned to the top of the OCAA with their fourth gold medal in six years. He led the team to three more OCAA bronze medals before bringing two more OCAA titles back to Niagara in 2004 and 2005.

In his final season, the final year of touch football in the OCAA, Niagara brought home yet another bronze medal, Randy's 12 medal in 13 years as Knights coach. In total, he led the touch football program to six OCAA gold and six OCAA bronze medals.

As an athlete, a staff member and a coach, Randy has touched the lives of hundreds of student athletes over the past 20 years.
