As a dual-sport student-athlete, Ashley Docking excelled in both basketball and soccer.

She gained immediate recognition as a member of the back-to-back OCAA champion women's basketball teams in 2005-06 and 2006-07. She was named a women's basketball championship all-star in 2007-08 as Seneca was awarded the OCAA silver medal.

Her final OCAA season was arguably Ashley's most memorable. She scored 18 goals in 11 soccer matches en route to an OCAA bronze medal. She was named a league all-star, OCAA player of the year and CCAA all-Canadian. In basketball, Ashley was named a first-team all-star, east defensive player of the year, championship all-star and CCAA championship second-team all-star. To cap the season off, Ashley was named OCAA female athlete of the year.

She is a Seneca hall of fame inductee as her jersey was officially retired.
