Wayne Gittens enjoyed a stellar career for Seneca College playing four seasons. During his tenure he was named Seneca's Most Valuable Player in the 1989-90 season as well as being named an OCAA league all-star for his outstanding team contribution.

In the 1991-92 season, Gittens and his teammates found post-season success capturing OCAA gold. Wayne finished his career and left his mark in the OCAA record books finishing with 28 career goals, formerly seventh all-time for goal scorers.

Gittens was also named a member of the OCAA Men's Soccer All-Millennium Team.
