Michelle Hall played three seasons with the Fanshawe women's basketball program from 1996 to 1999. In both 1997-98 and 1998-99, she was the OCAA women's basketball scoring champion, averaging 17.2 and 18.4 points per game, respectively.

When she was playing, Fanshawe had a league record of 33-11. Michelle was twice named an OCAA first-team all-star (1997-98 and 1998-99), as well as an OCAA second-team all-star in her rookie season.

In 1997-98, she was named a CCAA all-Canadian as Fanshawe won a bronze medal at the OCAA championship. She was also named Fanshawe's female athlete of the year.

In her final season, Michelle helped lead the Falcons to a league record of 14-2 and an OCAA silver medal. When her career concluded, Michelle was seventh all-time in OCAA scoring with 720 points, and first all-time in school history.
