Krissy Kort began her college varsity career with Georgian College in 1998-99 and played until 2000-01.

In her rookie season, Krissy made a splash leading her team in scoring. The following season, she continued her prowess on the basketball court averaging 19.6 points per game and was named Georgian College's Female Athlete of the Year.

She garnered that title again in the 1999-2000 season when she averaged 20.1 points per game and added numerous other accolades to her athletic resume, including being named a CCAA all-Canadian and OCAA league all-star.
