Tara Mowder had a stellar fastball career as a member of the Seneca Scouts from 1993 to 1997. A two-time batting champion, Mowder was named an OCAA league all-star three times and Seneca's most valuable player twice.

She collected two OCAA championship medals during her career including an OCAA title in her rookie season. She added to her collection in 1995-96 when her team earned OCAA championship bronze.

Tara was named a member of the OCAA Women's Fastball All-Millenium Team.
