Grace Siu was a fierce competitor in singles play and captured two OCAA gold medals in both the 1993 and 1994 seasons. She also added one OCAA silver medal in 1992. Nationally, Siu earned a CCAA national championship bronze medal in 1994.

There were many other victories in open, invitational and OCAA regional championships during this three-year period. Siu captured Mohawk's Outstanding Female Freshman award in 1991 and was the Outstanding Female Athlete twice (1992, 1993).

"Amazing" Grace, as she was known, was an OCAA and CCAA all-academic award winner and captured Mohawk's highest varsity honour, the Dr. Sam Mitminger Award, upon graduation from Information Systems in 1994.

Siu was inducted into the Mountaineer Hall of Fame in 2003 and was named a member of the OCAA Badminton All-Millennium Team.
