Dan Stasso was a phenomenal talent during his tenure in OCAA men's hockey. He dominated the competition in the first three years of the league's existence and was remembered as a remarkably skilled hockey player, who possessed one of the best shots in the league.

The Leamington, Ont., native was a member of the St. Clair men's hockey dynasty that went on to win three consecutive OCAA championships. During the three-year stretch, St. Clair posted a record of 32-0-4.

Dan was an integral member of the team as he led the league in scoring in two seasons (1968-69 and 1969-70). During his final season on the team, Stasso averaged 3.9 points per game, going on to score 18 goals in 10 games. In one of his more memorable performances, Stasso notched three goals in 27 seconds against Fanshawe College on Feb. 13, 1969.

Stasso is an inducted member of the St. Clair College Sports Hall of Fame, and is a member of the OCAA Men's Hockey All-Millennium team.
