George Brown named Taylor their Athlete of the Year for the 1991-92 season based on his fantastic achievements up to that point.

Following Taylor's graduation from the Business Administration program in 1992, he went on to play for the University of Toronto's Mississauga men's summer basketball league, with whom he became the league all-star in 1997. He was also named the three-point shootout champion in 1997 and later again in 1999.
