When Ron stepped off the field and onto the court he lead the basketball team to a 10-5 record during his freshman season averaging 12.3 points per game.

Over three seasons with the men's soccer team Ron scored 20 career goals in 19 conference games, including a team-leading nine goals in 1980-81. His career year on the field offensively played a part in the program winning its first-ever OCAA men's soccer championship.

On the hardwood Ron was equally as impressive, averaging a double-double over his three-year collegiate career with 11.2 points per game and 10.1 rebounds per game.
