Dr. Renee Yip is a four-time OCAA badminton individual gold medalist, having never lost a match in conference play. She won an additional three gold medals as part of Humber team championships. She is also a two-time CCAA national champion.

Renee debuted during the 2009-10 season with partner Raymond Wong and together won both the OCAA and CCAA mixed doubles gold medals. She was named the OCAA Women's Player of the Year and CCAA All-Canadian.

She moved to women's doubles the following season where she remained the remainder of her time at Humber. Partnering with Alyssa Woon for two seasons, the pair won back-to-back OCAA championships, the first teammates to repeat in women's doubles in nine seasons. They advanced to the CCAA bronze medal match both times, winning Renee's second national medal in 2012.

In her final season, Renee partnered with Tracy Wong and together won both the OCAA and CCAA women's doubles gold medals.

Renee is a two-time OCAA All-Academic, CCAA Academic All-Canadian and OCAA All-Star.
