A single-division format will continue for 2024, as teams play a double round robin format consisting of one doubleheader against each club totalling 18 games each.

It will be a race to who will throw the opening pitch of the OCAA season on Sept. 6 in Scarborough with the Centennial Colts (Scarborough) hosting the Seneca Sting (North York) and the George Brown Huskies (Toronto) entertaining the Durham Lords (Oshawa) just a dozen kilometres away.

The three-time reigning OCAA champion St. Clair Saints (Windsor) begin their title defence on the road the following day travelling a slightly longer up the I-75 to pay the Sault Cougars (Sault Ste. Marie) a visit. Back in the Ontario capital, the Humber Hawks (Etobicoke) host the Sheridan Bruins (Mississauga) renewing their school rivalry.

The final two teams to open the regular season will do so on Sept. 8 with the Lambton Lions (Sarnia) visiting the Fanshawe Falcons (London) at the historic Labatt Memorial Park.

Fans will have to wait until the end of the regular season to see the much anticipated rematch of the last three OCAA gold and silver medalists when St. Clair hosts Humber on Oct. 12. The Hawks thwarted Durham's bid for an appearance in last year's final, and the Lords will look for a measure of revenge on the road on Oct. 5.

A total of 90 games (45 doubleheaders) are planned across the province over a span of 37 days. As inclement weather can more often than not interrupt the OCAA schedule, Oct. 14-16 has been designated as a period to make up potential rainouts.

The top six teams at the conclusion of the regular season - including host Lambton - move on to the OCAA championship. (If Lambton finishes below sixth place, it will replace the sixth seed.) The modified double knockout tournament will take place Oct. 17-19 at Stan Slack Field at Errol Russell Park in Sarnia. The top two teams advance directly to the double knockout, while the remaining four play a sudden death game to advance to the double knockout stage.

All OCAA schedules for the 2024-25 season, including dates, times and locations, are subject to change.
