The Conestoga Condors had a successful week on the diamond to go along with an impressive start to the season, winning three times while dropping just one. Much of this was due to Ernst's power at the plate. The third-year centre fielder hit for a .545 average in 11 at bats with five runs scored, six hits (four for extra bases), three home runs, eight RBI, two walks and two stolen bases. Ernst leads the OCAA circuit with four dingers. Having won just five games last season, the Condors have already reach that mark with just three losses.

Moller played the hero role for the Seneca Sting in their season opener against the Sheridan Bruins on Sept. 14. Moller scored a try and kicked the convert in the match's final plays to snatch a thrilling 24-24 tie from the hands of defeat to the Bruins. Earlier in the match, Moller added a pair of converts and a penalty kick to finish with 14 total points. Moller was the leading scorer on the Sting last season. Seneca will take on the defending OCAA champion Georgian Grizzlies on Friday, with both clubs searching for their first victory of 2024.

Two-time reigning OCAA All-Star Morris scored five tries and was successful on seven conversions. Morris began the current season with 313 career points, and with an additional 39 this weekend elevates the the fourth-year back to third all-time in OCAA history. Kale Murray

In a 4-0 weekend for the Lambton Lions, Murray did a bit of everything. The following day, Murray threw a complete game shutout against the George Brown Huskies in Game 1, allowing just five hits while striking out six. At the plate, Murray had a pair of hits and three RBI. In Game 2, Murray went 3-for-4, finishing a double shy of the cycle, including a home run in a 10-0 victory.
Lily Ryder

Year of Eligibility: 2
Sport: Soccer
Hometown: St. Thomas, Ont.
The second-year forward recorded three goals and an assist over a pair of weekend matches against the Lambton Lions and St. Clair Saints, including two goals within five minutes of each other. The 2023 OCAA Second-Team All-Star has already matched the three goals Ryder recorded last season. Ryder's speed and great attacking abilities have caused havoc for opposing defences, helping propel the Niagara Knights to a 3-1 record to start off the year and a share of first place in the West Division.
