BRAMPTON, Ont. - On Tuesday, the Fanshawe Falcons headed to Brampton to take on the CCAA No. 1 nationally-ranked Sheridan Bruins (6-0).
Last season, the Bruins were crowned OCAA provincial champions and have their entire starting five players back from that team.
To start the game, the Falcons kept pace with the Bruins, finding themselves only down five at the half.
Some costly turnovers in the third quarter by Fanshawe saw Sheridan pull away and eventually win the game by a final score of 99-77.
Falcons point guard Alex Thompson led Fanshawe in scoring with 13 points.
