WELLAND, Ont. - The Fanshawe Falcons (3-0) defeated the Niagara Knights (0-3) in their lone game of the week.
Fanshawe is currently second in the OCAA West Division and remains one of only two teams still undefeated on the season.
On Friday, the game was tight through the first three quarters of play, with the Falcons leading by only four. Fanshawe began the fourth quarter on a 10-3 run which propelled them to the 74-58 win.
The Falcons were led by guard Chavaun Miller-Bennett, who scored 18 points, as well as sharpshooter Ryan Pflanzer, who finished with 16, including four three-pointers.
The Falcons will take the court only once this week, as they head to Etobicoke on Wednesday, Nov. 6 to take on the Humber Hawks (3-1) at 8 p.m. The Hawks are led by Matthew Marshall and Brett Neumann, who each average 13.5 points per game.
