The schedule opens with four doubleheaders featuring both men's and women's games, including the Lambton Lions (Sarnia) beginning defence of their OCAA women's championship at the Redeemer Royals (Ancaster). The Georgian Grizzlies (Barrie) host reigning OCAA and national men's silver medalist George Brown Huskies (Toronto); the Conestoga Condors (Kitchener) visit the St. Clair Saints (Windsor); and the OCAA men's bronze medalist Durham Lords (Oshawa) travel to the Loyalist Lancers (Belleville).

The defending OCAA men's champion Humber Hawks (Etobicoke) makes their regular season debut on Oct. 20 when they visit the Niagara Knights (Welland) as part of a doubleheader. The Niagara women's team took home the OCAA bronze medal last season. The reigning women's silver medalist Algonquin Wolves (Ottawa), who haven't lost a regular season game since Feb. 12, 2022, are idle until Oct. 25 when they visit George Brown and then the Centennial Colts (Scarborough) the following day.

The Clash in the Nation's Capital will take place on Oct. 19 and Nov. 29 as Algonquin squares off against La Cité Coyotes (Ottawa) in men's play. "The Game" featuring Humber and the Sheridan Bruins (Brampton) is set for Oct. 23 and Feb. 5.

Most of the schedule will feature doubleheaders between schools alternating between men's and women's competition. A total of 180 men's and 128 women's games will be played between October and February, with a mid-season break in December for exams.

The top eight teams in each division qualify for the post-season. The first round will consist of interdivisional play between teams from opposite divisions based according to seeding (1 vs. 8, 2 vs. 7, etc.). The winners will then advance to the quarter-finals, hosted by the higher seeds. The OCAA championships will consist of back-to-back days of semi-finals and medal matches at the home of the highest remaining seeds.

All OCAA schedules for the 2024-25 season, including dates, times and locations, are subject to change.
