Morris became Humber's first OCAA individual men's golf champion since 2017 and the 16th in program history at last week's OCAA Golf Championships at the Barrie Country Club. Forced into a playoff with Confederation's Nathan Lepore (Thunder Bay, Ont.) after three rounds, Morris tapped home a birdie putt on the fourth playoff hole to claim the gold medal. It marked a second-straight medal at the championship after Morris earned silver last year. Morris and the Humber Hawks will now compete at nationals next week at RedCrest Golf Club in King, Ont.
