Bill Rodney played three seasons of OCAA men's hockey.

Rodney debuted in 1972-73 for St. Lawrence College-Cornwall. SLC won the OCAA East regional championship.

Bill then made the trip to the other side of the province and played his final two seasons with St. Clair College. St. Clair won two regional championships, advancing to the OCAA final both times. St. Clair won the OCAA championship in 1974-75 as Rodney was named an OCAA Championship All-Star.

In this three seasons, Bill recorded 174 points on 71 goals and 103 assists. Rodney is a member of the OCAA Men's Hockey All-Millennium team.
