CENTENNIAL 82, CANADORE 73

TORONTO - The Canadore Panthers men's varsity basketball team played their first game on the road this season and fell short to the Centennial Colts at the Toronto campus gymnasium.

Coming off two straight wins to start their season, the Panthers struggled in the first quarter of the game and were down by 22 points after the first 10 minutes of play. They came back in the second and narrowed the Colts lead as it was 40-30 after the first half.

Canadore head coach Stacy Gallagher says, "We bounced back from a very bad start to the game. We didn't play our game and it showed. We fought back hard to bring the game back to within striking distance but came up short."

"GET YOUR CLAWS OUT" and come out to cheer for your home team at the Panthers next home game on Saturday, Nov. 9 vs. Durham College at 1 p.m.
