FANSHAWE 60, ST. CLAIR 54

WINDSOR, Ont. - The St. Clair College women's basketball dropped their season record to 7-2 after losing 60-54 to Fanshawe College (London, Ont.) at the SportsPlex Wednesday night.

A very low scoring game saw both teams struggle out of the gate with Fanshawe up 7-6 after the opening quarter and the teams limped into the half-time locker room tied 19-19.

The play improved in the second half but neither team could separate until late into the fourth quarter after being tied at 52-52. Fanshawe used an 8-2 run to finish the game to decide the outcome. Fanshawe was able to capitalize off 26 turnovers for 17 points which proved to be a key stat.

Jaide Lyons (Windsor, Ont./FJ Brennan) led St. Clair with 14 points but was only joined by Shannon Kennedy (Windsor, Ont./St. Joseph's) in double figures with 11 points.

Fanshawe's Ali Vlasman (Mount Elgin, Ont.) led all scorers with 15 points in the win.
