Lapointe played a part in every one of Durham's goals in its 3-1 home finale victory over Fleming on Oct. 11. The win clinched a home playoff match for the Lords. Lapointe assisted on Durham's first goal, sending a perfect pass through Fleming's defence to the foot of first-year standout Makayla Rudder. She went on to put herself in perfect position to pot home a rebound from a Rudder shot in the 38th minute to score the game-winning goal. Lapointe then repeated the result of the first marker with an another pinpoint pass to Rudder in the 75th minute.
