Hirst had a huge game for the Algonquin Wolves on Nov. 11, scoring 25 points and grabbing 15 rebounds for a double-double in a 102-55 win over the George Brown Huskies. The second-year forward shot 9-of-13 for 69.2 per cent from the field, and 7-of-9 (77.8 per cent) from the free-throw line. Hirst leads all OCAA players with 57 rebounds so far this season, averaging 11.4 boards per game. Thanks in large part to Hirst' performance, the Wolves secured their first road win of the season and now stand at 5-0 atop the East Division standings.
