Thompson scored 28 points to lead the Georgian Grizzlies to their first regular season victory since January 11, 2019. The second-year forward added seven rebounds, five assists, two steals and a block in the 73-51 win over the Loyalist Lancers on Nov. 26 in Barrie. Thompson currently leads the East Division in scoring averaging 21.6 points per game, good for third among all OCAA players. Georgian now has a prolonged home-and-home with George Brown, traveling on Friday to close the first-half while opening the second half against the same Huskies at home on Jan. 13.
