Otong had a spectacular debut with the Georgian Grizzlies helping the team to two big victories to open 2024. In an 99-91 overtime victory at the George Brown Huskies on Jan. 10, Otong scored a game-high 43 points on 19-of-28 shooting (67.9 per cent), grabbing 15 rebounds. Two days later, Otong scored another 14 points and added five rebounds in Georgian's 105-100 home victory over the Centennial Colts. The Grizzlies improved to 8-4 with the two victories as they looked to climb up the East Division standings.
