Betts and mixed doubles partner Sadik Ali played incredible badminton at West Regionals at Conestoga this past weekend. Playing in the toughest pool at the regional, Betts and Ali went 3-1, including a 23-21, 16-21, 21-15 win over the Humber Hawks pairing of Zeel Rohit and Gokulkrishna Santhoshkumar to clinch first place and a berth at the upcoming OCAA Badminton Championships. The intensity was real throughout the competition as three of the Conestoga duo's matches went to a third set. Betts is also a West Regional All-Star.
