Since joining the Fleming Phoenix in January, Blackwood has posted impressive numbers. In six games, Blackwood is averaging 27.5 points, scoring more than 59 per cent from the field and averaging almost 10 rebounds per game. In a narrow 103-101 overtime road loss to the Loyalist Lancers on Jan. 30, Blackwood led Fleming with an impressive 30 points and 13 rebounds. Blackwood's work ethic provides positive energy to the Phoenix who are looking towards a strong finish to the season resulting in a post-season berth.
