Brown, a former OCAA League All-Star and West Division Rookie of the Year, led the Redeemer Royals to a 1-1 draw against the reigning OCAA champion Humber Hawks on Sept. 9. The fifth-year goalkeeper registered six saves, including two from in close to keep the match deadlocked. The lone goal scored against Brown was on a penalty kick. It is a positive start to the season for the Royals who went 5-3-2 last season but lost to the Hawks 3-0. Brown and the Royals are back on the pitch again on Thursday against the Sheridan Bruins.
