In three games on opening weekend, Robinson batted .400 (4-for-10) for the reigning OCAA champion St. Clair Saints, leading the team to a 3-0 start. In particular, the third-year first baseman put on a show offensively in a doubleheader against the Seneca Sting on Sept. 10 with a pair of home runs in consecutive innings in the fifth and sixth that resulted in three RBIs. The Saints won the game 11-3. In Game 2, Robinson added another round tripper for a three-home run day at the plate as part of a six-run third inning in a 7-2 victory.
