After a standout first-season with the Algonquin Wolves, Blades-McHenry was sidelined for the early part of the 2023 season recovering from a broken ankle suffered last March. The reigning OCAA Rookie of the Year has been back on the pitch for a few weeks now and Blades-McHenry seems back in the groove, scoring a hat trick en route to a 7-0 win over the Loyalist Lancers on Oct. 6. This is a great sign for the Wolves with one game remaining in the regular season before playing for keeps in the OCAA playoffs beginning Oct. 18.
