River was exceptional in helping the Seneca Sting to a 2-2 record this past week. River went 10-for-15 at the plate over the four games, driving in six runs and scoring six more times. River's week was highlighted in a doubleheader sweep against the Mohawk Mountaineers where the second-year player went 6-for-8 with three RBI and five runs scored. In the field, River had five putouts and 11 assists for the week. River is currently in the Top 10 in OCAA batting with a .403 average as the Sting remain in the hunt for a OCAA championship berth.
