Lokoro became just the ninth individual, and the first since 2013, to successfully defend the men's individual gold medal at the OCAA Cross Country Championships at Shade's Mills Conservation Area in Cambridge on Oct. 28. Lokoro won in a time of 25:09.4, nearly 44 seconds ahead of the second place runner. Lokoro is also a member of the OCAA All-Ontario First-Team. Lokoro completed a perfect season, having won all three OCAA invitationals meets leading into provincials. Lokoro's next big race is at nationals on Nov. 11 in Truro, N.S.
