Heidbuurt had an outstanding match against the crosstown rival Mohawk Mountaineers on Nov. 18, registering a career-high 32 points, one shy of a school record in a five-set defeat. The Redeemer Royals rookie standout tallied 28 kills, three service aces and one block while adding four digs. Heidbuurt had an impressive .346 hitting percentage for the match. The outside hitter is currently the Redeemer team leader in offence averaging 2.46 kills and 3.4 points per set through eight matches. Redeemer hosts the Niagara Knights on Wednesday.
