Brendan Barrett-Hamilton played men's volleyball for both Cambrian College (1999-2001) and Georgian College (2002-04) and holds numerous records for his outstanding play.

Barrett-Hamilton was fifth all-time at his induction in OCAA career aces with 65 and third all-time in career kills with 636. He also held the No. 1 spot with 174 career blocks and 875 total career points.

Barrett-Hamilton was named the most valuable player for the men's volleyball team for the 2002-03 season at Georgian College. The following year, he was once again named MVP, received an academic all-Canadian award and was named the prestigious Georgian College Male Athlete of the Year.
