Penny English was a dominant force on the soccer pitch for the Conestoga Condors, four-times being named an OCAA league all-star. Leading her team to the post-season, she also garnered OCAA tournament all-star nods on three occasions and was twice named the OCAA championship tournament's MVP and OCAA gold medalist for outdoor soccer.

In addition to outdoor and indoor soccer, Penny also played varsity basketball and volleyball.

Conestoga named English its Female Athlete of the Year in 1991 and 1992 and she was named her team's MVP for outdoor soccer on three occasions and for indoor soccer twice. English also holds the rare distinction of being named a CCAA all-Canadian for three consecutive years.

English graduated from the CPA program at Conestoga College and was named a member of the OCAA Women's Soccer All-Millennium Team.
